To secure the future of the next generation of artists /scholars and entrepreneurs

It is with great pride and honor that I introduce Amazing Grace Conservatory, (AGC), a theatrical, digital and media arts training institute for youth and young adults ages 5-18. As we embark on our 25th Anniversary Season it amazes me to witness the ‘Full Circle of Life, Love and Legacy’ that has touched, moved and inspired thousands of lives throughout the years.

It has often been said that ‘the arts saves lives’ however; to experience it first hand is truly a blessing and a privilege I do not take likely. I grew up in South Central Los Angeles and witnessed the socio-economic disparities that impacted both me and my community. The devastation of the LA Riots in 1992, combined with the aftermath of seeing my beloved neighborhood destroyed, our schools and our children in crisis, became a defining moment for me and the vision for Amazing Grace Conservatory was born. Along with my best friend and Morehouse Man, the late Tracy Lamar Coley, two struggling artists put our heads, hearts and artistic excellence together to create a platform that would give inner-city youth an opportunity to be SEEN and HEARD in a non-judgmental environment that would be nurturing for their mind, body, and soul.

Over the past 25 years, we have cultivated a pipeline to the entertainment industry, post-secondary education institutions that include partnerships with the University of Southern California, Howard University and Los Angeles Southwest Community College to name a few. We could not have accomplished this alone. It is through our intentional partnerships with local school districts and community collaborations that include Brotherhood Crusade and STEAM Coders that dreams are being realized. The power of children seeing successful people who look like them and provide one-on-one mentorship, cannot be overstated. That ingredient combined with quality programming has had a profound impact on our students and is embedded in our organization.

As we navigate through a global health pandemic, soaring racial tensions, divisive ideologies, and frequent natural disasters, hope has become a seemingly evasive twinkle of light in the distance. But in the midst of the chaos, AGC has remained resilient in revealing the power of our imagination and the power of our voices as we meet the “new normal” with unwavering confidence. Our branches are deeply rooted in the community, reaching our youth and our communities through inspiring and socially relevant content that speaks to the cultural values, hopes and dreams of the youth we serve. From the 'Neighborhood to Hollywood' from 'Our House to the White House', AGC is a home away from home, a place where everyone is family and a cornerstone of talent for the next generation of entrepreneurs, artists, legends and future makers that the world has been waiting for...... I used to believe that ‘It takes a village to raise a child’, but now I am convinced, ‘It takes a WORLD.’

We ask that you to join us in our mission as we train and develop emerging artists and underrepresented youth TODAY to be courageous leaders who forge paths for others to do the same TOMORROW!

Thank you for your prayers, love and support!
